Contract Land Surveyor in Oslo, Norway

We are in need of a skilled and experienced Land Surveyor to join our team on a contract basis in Oslo, Norway. As a Land Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting surveys and collecting data to determine the exact coordinates and boundaries of land or construction sites. Your work will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate placement and development of buildings, roads, and other structures.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct land surveys using various measurement tools and techniques
- Gather data on land features, boundaries, and elevations
- Create detailed maps and drawings using survey data
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other professionals to plan construction projects
- Ensure that all survey work meets legal requirements and regulations
- Maintain accurate records of survey data and findings

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Land Surveying or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Land Surveyor
- Proficiency in using surveying equipment such as total stations, GPS receivers, and laser scanners
- Strong knowledge of surveying principles and techniques
- Excellent mathematical skills for accurate measurements and calculations
- Familiarity with CAD software for creating maps and drawings
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with colleagues and clients

Salary:
The salary for this contract position is 1100$ per month. Other benefits such as housing allowance or transportation may be provided depending on the length of the contract.

Location:
This position is based in Oslo, Norway. While we prefer candidates who are already located in Oslo or nearby areas, we are open to considering applicants from other locations who are willing to relocate for the duration of the contract.

Contract Duration:
The duration of the contract will vary depending on project needs. However, it is expected to last at least 6 months with the possibility of extension.
