African Cuisine Chef
We are seeking an experienced African Cuisine Chef to join our team in Beer-Sheva. As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing authentic African dishes that will delight our customers. You must have a strong understanding of traditional African flavors and techniques, as well as be able to incorporate modern twists to elevate the dishes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and create menus featuring authentic African dishes
- Prepare and cook food according to recipes and presentation standards
- Ensure high quality and consistent taste of all dishes
- Train and supervise kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and sanitation standards
- Manage inventory, ordering, and stock control of ingredients
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure excellent service for customers
- Stay updated on current food trends in the industry
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Chef, preferably specializing in African cuisine
- Extensive knowledge of traditional African flavors, ingredients, and cooking techniques
- Ability to create new dishes while maintaining authenticity
- Strong leadership skills
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Salary: $1400/monthly
Location: Beer-Sheva, Israel (open to all nationalities)
