They are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and resourceful Executive Assistant to provide comprehensive support to our Managing Director (MD). This role requires exceptional organizational skills, discretion, and the ability to manage diverse tasks, ranging from executive administration to personal investment oversight and international event coordination.
Key Responsibilities
Executive Support: Manage the MD’s calendar, schedule meetings, and ensure effective time management.
Personal & Investment Management: Oversee personal investments, including rental properties, collections, and related administrative matters.
Event & Exhibition Coordination: Plan and execute participation in 3–4 international agribusiness exhibitions annually, covering stand booking/design, logistics, accommodation, and visa arrangements.
Travel & Logistics: Arrange professional and personal travel for the MD and family, including visa appointments, itinerary planning, and bookings.
Budget & Record Management: Maintain records of exhibition and travel expenses, ensuring efficient budget control.
Stakeholder Liaison: Serve as a point of contact between the MD and external stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and business partners.
Confidentiality: Handle sensitive information with the highest level of discretion.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Management, or a related field (preferred).
Proven experience as a Personal or Executive Assistant supporting senior executives.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with excellent attention to detail.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional and polished demeaner.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant productivity tools.
Ability to work independently and perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of agricultural exhibitions and international travel logistics is an added advantage.
Familiarity with Kenyan visa procedures will be an asset.
