Handyman Supervisor
Our busy construction company in the vibrant city of Acre is seeking a skilled and experienced Handyman Supervisor to join our team. As a Handyman Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily activities of our team of handymen, ensuring high-quality work and timely completion of projects.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the work of our team of handymen
- Assign tasks and provide guidance to ensure efficient completion of projects
- Inspect completed work for quality assurance
- Train new handymen on company procedures and safety protocols
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Communicate with clients to assess their needs and provide updates on project progress
- Troubleshoot any issues that may arise during projects
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a handyman or in a supervisory role in the construction industry
- Proficient in various handyman tasks such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, etc.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical manuals
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team
- Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of other languages is a plus)
- Physically capable of lifting heavy objects, working at heights, and performing manual labor for extended periods of time
- Valid driver's license preferred
