Preservation Architect in Jerusalem, Israel

We are hiring a Preservation Architect with experience in historic preservation and restoration projects. As a member of our team, you will work on a variety of projects in Jerusalem, preserving and restoring the city's rich architectural heritage. This is a contract position with a salary of $1800 per month and includes accommodation.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct site assessments and surveys to determine the condition of historic buildings
- Develop preservation plans that adhere to local, national, and international standards
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to implement preservation projects
- Research historical documentation and materials to ensure accurate restoration work
- Create detailed drawings and specifications for preservation projects
- Monitor project progress to ensure compliance with plans and budgets

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in historic preservation or restoration projects
- Strong knowledge of local building codes and historic preservation regulations
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or other architectural software
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Historic Preservation or Conservation Architecture
- Experience working on preservation projects in Jerusalem or other historically significant cities
