Preservation Architect



We are seeking an experienced Preservation Architect to join our team in Jerusalem. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historic buildings and structures while adhering to conservation principles and guidelines. You will work closely with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to develop preservation plans and oversee the execution of restoration projects.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in preservation architecture
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other architectural software
- Knowledge of conservation principles and guidelines
- Strong project management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:
- Conduct site visits and assessments of historic buildings and structures
- Develop preservation plans that adhere to conservation principles and guidelines
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure successful execution of preservation projects
- Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for restoration work
- Monitor progress of restoration projects and address any issues that may arise
- Stay updated on new materials, techniques, and regulations related to preservation architecture

Salary: 1400$ per month

Location: Jerusalem (Preference for Malayalees)
