Crane operator vacancy in Sharjah UAE

Crane Operator

A reputable construction company in Sharjah is seeking a skilled and experienced Crane Operator to join our team. As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating various types of cranes to lift, move, and position heavy materials on construction sites. This is a contract job with a salary of 1100$ per month. Accommodation will not be provided, therefore candidates must have their own visa and be able to work legally in the UAE. This is an urgent position, so we are looking for candidates who can start immediately.

Responsibilities:
- Operate various types of cranes including mobile, tower, and overhead cranes
- Inspect crane equipment before and after use to ensure safe operation
- Determine load weights and safety measures before lifting materials
- Communicate with ground crew using hand signals or radio to ensure safe movement of materials
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations while operating the crane
- Keep accurate records of daily operations including logs of lifts and maintenance performed on equipment
- Report any issues or malfunctions with the crane immediately to supervisors

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a crane operator in the construction industry
- Valid crane operator certification/license
- Knowledge of different types of cranes and their operations
- Understanding of safety regulations related to operating cranes
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects
- Strong communication skills
- Must have own visa and ability to work legally in the UAE
- Fluent in English
