Web Designer

We are seeking a talented and creative Web Designer to join our team in Akron. As a Web Designer, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing and user-friendly websites for our clients. You will work closely with our clients to understand their needs and translate them into compelling designs. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for design, be proficient in web design software and coding languages, and have excellent communication skills. This is a contract position with the possibility of long-term employment. Accommodation can be provided for non-local candidates.

Salary: $1700/month

Requirements:
- Experience in web design or related field
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and other web design software
- Understanding of coding languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Strong portfolio showcasing previous web design work
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and work on multiple projects simultaneously

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients to understand their website needs and requirements
- Design visually appealing and user-friendly websites that align with client's brand identity
- Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes for client approval
- Implement designs using HTML, CSS, JavaScript or other coding languages as needed
- Optimize website performance for speed and responsiveness
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in web design
