Hotel Sales Manager in Os, Norway
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Hotel Sales Manager to join our team in Os, Norway. As a Hotel Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to increase revenue and occupancy at our hotel. You will also be in charge of managing and training the sales team, creating partnerships with local businesses and organizations, and maintaining positive relationships with existing clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets
- Manage the sales team and provide training and guidance
- Identify new business opportunities and create partnerships with local organizations
- Maintain positive relationships with current clients to ensure repeat business
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to adjust strategies accordingly
- Prepare sales reports and present them to upper management
- Collaborate with other departments such as marketing, revenue management, and operations to promote the hotel effectively
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience in hotel sales or a similar role
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership abilities and ability to work well within a team
- Knowledge of local market trends and key players in the industry
- Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus)
