Our hotel in Os, Norway is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to join our team. As the Hotel Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to increase revenue and occupancy rates. This is a part-time position with a salary of $1500 per month, along with the added benefit of accommodation provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales plans to achieve target revenue goals
- Identify new business opportunities and maintain relationships with existing clients
- Conduct market research to identify trends and competitor strategies
- Collaborate with marketing team to create promotional materials and campaigns
- Attend industry events and networking functions to promote the hotel
- Monitor sales performance and provide reports to senior management
- Train and motivate the sales team to ensure they meet their targets
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Sales Manager in the hotel industry
- Strong knowledge of sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make strategic decisions based on findings
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in English (additional languages are a plus)
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to build relationships with clients
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings as required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or relevant field
- Experience working in a luxury or boutique hotel
- Knowledge of the local market in Os, Norway
- Familiarity with revenue management strategies
