Senior Sailor - El-Fujairah


We are seeking an experienced Sailor 1st class to join our team in El-Fujairah. As a Senior Sailor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the ship and ensuring the safety and well-being of all crew members. This is a physically demanding role that requires strong teamwork skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and assist with ship maintenance, including painting, cleaning, and repairs
- Monitor weather conditions and adjust sailing plans accordingly
- Lead emergency drills and provide first aid when necessary
- Train new crew members on safety procedures and duties
- Maintain accurate records of cargo, supplies, and equipment
- Ensure compliance with all maritime regulations

Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Sailor 1st class or similar role
- Valid seafarer's medical certificate and STCW certification
- Strong swimming skills and physical fitness to perform duties on deck in all weather conditions
- Excellent communication skills with proficiency in English (knowledge of Hindi or any Indian language is preferred)
- Ability to work well in a multicultural team environment
- Flexibility to work long hours, including weekends and holidays if needed

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1600$ per month with potential for salary increase based on performance.

Location:
This position is located in El-Fujairah, UAE. Preference will be given to Indian nationals.
