QA Engineer


We are hiring a skilled QA Engineer to join our team in Bergen, Norway on a contract basis. As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products by conducting various tests and identifying any issues or bugs.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop test plans and strategies based on project requirements
- Execute manual and automated tests to validate software functionality
- Identify, document, and track software defects
- Work closely with developers to investigate and resolve issues
- Communicate test results and provide recommendations for improvements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality deliverables

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a QA Engineer or similar role
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and tools
- Experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium or Appium
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java or Python
- Knowledge of defect tracking systems like Jira or Bugzilla
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- ISTQB certification or equivalent
- Experience with agile development processes

Salary:
This is a contract position offering a salary of $1700 per month. Accommodation will be provided, along with a free visa and ticket.

Location:
This position is located in Bergen, Norway. While Norwegian nationality is preferred, candidates from other nationalities who are willing to relocate are also welcome to apply.
