Mining Operations Supervisor

We are hiring a Mining Operations Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of our mining site in Malindi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a team of miners, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and maximizing production efficiency.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise a team of miners to ensure safe and efficient operation of the site
- Develop and implement production plans to meet targets and deadlines
- Monitor equipment performance and maintenance needs
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols
- Train new employees on proper mining techniques and safety procedures
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment, facilities, and work areas to identify any potential hazards or issues
- Work closely with engineers and geologists to optimize mining processes
- Maintain accurate records of production, expenses, and inventory levels
- Communicate effectively with management on site updates, progress reports, and any issues that may arise

Requirements:
- Previous experience in a supervisory role in the mining industry preferred
- Knowledge of mining equipment, techniques, and safety protocols
- Ability to lead a team and make decisions under pressure
- Physically fit to work in demanding conditions
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Willingness to work long hours if necessary

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1600 per month for this full-time position.

Location:
This position is based in Malindi, Kenya.

Note:
Preference will be given to Indian nationals for this position. Fluency in English is required. This is not a remote job; accommodation will not be provided. Visa sponsorship and travel ticket will be provided by the company.
