Typesetter (Indian Nationals) - Jerusalem


We are a fast-paced publishing company based in Jerusalem, looking for an experienced Typesetter to join our team. As a Typesetter, you will be responsible for formatting and arranging text and images in various publications, including books, magazines, and newspapers.

Responsibilities:
- Use software programs such as Adobe InDesign and QuarkXPress to layout text and images according to specific design guidelines
- Ensure that all elements on the page are aligned properly and visually appealing
- Check for spelling and grammar errors before finalizing layouts
- Collaborate with editors, graphic designers, and other team members to ensure timely production of high-quality publications
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in typesetting technology

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Typesetter or similar role in the publishing industry
- Proficiency in using typesetting software like Adobe InDesign and QuarkXPress
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Biometric passport required for international travel

We offer a competitive salary of $1400 per month for this full-time position. This is an urgent position, so we are looking for candidates who can start immediately.
