Junior PHP Developer

We are seeking a motivated Junior PHP Developer to join our team in Almada. As a Junior PHP Developer, you will assist in the development and maintenance of web applications using PHP and other related technologies. This is a full-time position with a starting salary of $1200 per month, with the option for accommodation provided.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the team to design, develop, and implement new features for web applications
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
- Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise
- Perform regular maintenance and updates on existing applications
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in web development

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Strong understanding of PHP and its frameworks such as Laravel or CodeIgniter
- Knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Familiarity with databases like MySQL or MongoDB
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Fluent in English (Portuguese is a plus)

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with web services/APIs
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git
- Understanding of Agile methodology
- Prior experience in developing e-commerce websites
