Head Baker
As the Head Baker, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the bakery department at our establishment in Alta, including managing a team of bakers, creating and executing new recipes, maintaining quality control, and managing inventory. This position requires strong leadership skills and a passion for baking.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of bakers and delegate tasks accordingly
- Create and execute new recipes for baked goods
- Ensure quality control of all baked goods
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders when necessary
- Train new bakers on baking techniques and company procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation standards
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a baker, with at least 1 year in a leadership or supervisory role
- Extensive knowledge of baking techniques and ingredients
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Salary: $1300 per month (negotiable based on experience)
