Solar Installer

A solar installer is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing solar energy systems. This includes mounting panels on roofs or other structures, connecting and wiring panels to inverters and electrical systems, and testing the functionality of the system. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction or electrical work and a strong understanding of solar energy technology.

Responsibilities:
- Install solar panels on rooftops or other structures according to specifications
- Connect and wire panels to inverters and electrical systems
- Test functionality of the system to ensure it is working properly
- Troubleshoot any issues that may arise during installation or maintenance
- Ensure all work is completed in a timely and efficient manner
- Keep accurate records of work performed for billing purposes
- Educate customers on how to use and maintain their solar energy system
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in solar technology

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification in construction or electrical work preferred
- Prior experience in construction, electrical work, or solar installation highly preferred
- Strong understanding of solar energy technology and equipment
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions
- Good physical stamina for lifting heavy materials and equipment as needed
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical information to non-experts
