We are hiring a skilled and experienced Software Developer to join our dynamic team in Svalbard, Norway. As a Software Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining high-quality software solutions for our clients. Your primary focus will be on creating efficient and scalable code using various programming languages and tools. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of software development principles and methodologies, as well as excellent problem-solving skills. This is a contract job with no accommodation provided, suitable for both men and women.

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and test software solutions according to client requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Maintain existing codebase and troubleshoot issues as needed
- Write clean, efficient and well-documented code using various programming languages such as Java, C++, Python or JavaScript
- Conduct thorough testing to ensure high-quality and bug-free software delivery
- Keep up-to-date with new technologies and industry developments to continuously improve our products

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven work experience as a Software Developer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Java, C++, Python or JavaScript
- Experience with database management systems (SQL or NoSQL)
- Familiarity with front-end development tools (HTML/CSS) is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Good communication skills in English (Norwegian is a plus)

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1800$ per month for this position.
