Part-Time Librarian
Location: Isa Town, Bahrain


We are hiring a Part-Time Librarian to join our team in Isa Town, Bahrain. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for managing and organizing our library's collection of books, journals, and other materials. Your duties will include cataloging and classifying materials, assisting patrons with research inquiries, and maintaining the library's online resources.

Key Requirements:
- No previous experience required
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Proficient in using computer systems and library software
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field preferred
- Comfortable working in a diverse environment

Responsibilities:
- Organize and maintain the library's collection of books, journals, and other materials
- Catalog and classify new materials according to standard library procedures
- Assist patrons with research inquiries and provide reference services
- Maintain the library's online resources and ensure they are up-to-date
- Create displays to promote new materials or special collections
- Train library users on how to use the online catalog system
- Help with circulation tasks such as checking out books, issuing library cards, etc.
- Collaborate with other librarians to plan events or programs for the community
- Stay updated on current trends in library technology

Working Hours:
This is a part-time position with flexible working hours. The schedule may include some evenings or weekends.

Benefits:
This position offers a salary of $1400 per month along with accommodation.
