Pastry Chef
As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing a variety of desserts, pastries, and baked goods. Your expertise in the kitchen will play a crucial role in ensuring that our customers are satisfied with their dining experience. You will also be responsible for managing inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and prepare high-quality desserts, pastries, and baked goods according to recipes and customer requests
- Manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure food safety standards are met
- Train and supervise other kitchen staff members on pastry techniques and recipes
- Collaborate with the head chef to develop new menu items and specials
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or in a similar role
- In-depth knowledge of various pastry techniques, ingredients, and equipment
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills
- Culinary degree or relevant certification is preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
Salary: 1100$ per month
Location: US (open to all nationalities)
