Merchandiser for Indian Food Products in Los Angeles



We are seeking a skilled Merchandiser to join our team in Los Angeles. This position is specifically for an Indian food products company, so knowledge and experience with Indian cuisine and culture is preferred. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in merchandising, as well as a strong understanding of marketing and sales techniques.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement merchandising strategies to increase sales and brand awareness for Indian food products in the Los Angeles market
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to create effective product displays and promotions
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate with suppliers to ensure timely restocking of products
- Conduct market research to identify new trends and opportunities in the local market
- Build relationships with retail stores to secure prime shelf space for our products
- Train store employees on product features and benefits to increase sales

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Merchandiser or similar role, preferably in the food industry
- Knowledge of Indian cuisine and culture is highly preferred
- Understanding of marketing tactics and techniques
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment

Salary: $1500 per month

Location: Los Angeles, USA (Candidates of Indian nationality will be given preference)
