We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Indian Pastry Chef to join our team in Malindi. As our ideal candidate, you will have a passion for creating delicious and visually appealing pastries, desserts, and baked goods. You will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of desserts, such as cakes, pies, tarts, and cookies. You must have the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards. Your creativity and attention to detail will be essential in developing new recipes and improving existing ones. Your main goal will be to delight our customers with your delectable creations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods according to established recipes.
- Create new recipes using traditional Indian flavors and ingredients.
- Decorate pastries using various techniques, such as piping or glazing.
- Ensure all products are of high quality and meet food safety standards.
- Maintain inventory levels of all pastry ingredients and supplies.
- Train junior pastry chefs on proper techniques and recipes.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to coordinate dessert menus with overall restaurant offerings.
- Stay up-to-date with food trends in the industry.

Requirements:
- Proven working experience as an Indian Pastry Chef or relevant position.
- Excellent knowledge of traditional Indian flavors and ingredients.
- In-depth understanding of baking techniques and pastry decoration methods.
- Experience in creating new recipes from scratch.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Good time-management skills.
- Creativity and attention to detail.
- Team player with excellent communication skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent; culinary degree is a plus.

Salary: 1400$ per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Malindi, Kenya (Indian nationality preferred)
