Entry Level Metal Worker in Karachi, Pakistan
We are seeking an Entry Level Metal Worker to join our team in Karachi, Pakistan. This is a contract position with a salary of 1000$. As an Entry Level Metal Worker, you will be responsible for fabricating and repairing metal structures and equipment according to blueprints and specifications. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to gain experience in the metalworking industry.
Requirements:
- No prior experience is required, but basic knowledge of metalworking techniques and tools is preferred
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read blueprints and follow technical instructions
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects
- Must be detail-oriented and have good hand-eye coordination
- Basic math skills are required for accurately measuring and cutting materials
Responsibilities:
- Read blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine materials needed and dimensions to be fabricated
- Measure, cut, shape, bend, or weld metal pieces using various hand tools or machines such as saws, shears, drills, grinders, etc.
- Assemble parts by bolting or welding them together according to specifications
- Repair damaged metal components by straightening or reshaping them using heat treatment techniques
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy before final assembly or installation
- Maintain a clean work environment and ensure all safety guidelines are followed at all times
