Preservation Architect
As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historical buildings and structures in the city of Triesen. Your main duties will include conducting detailed assessments of historical sites, developing preservation plans, and overseeing restoration projects. You will work closely with local authorities, contractors, and other professionals to ensure that all preservation work adheres to strict guidelines and regulations.
To excel in this role, you must have a strong understanding of architectural history, as well as experience in preservation and restoration techniques. You must also possess excellent project management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively communicate with various stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of historical buildings and structures
- Develop preservation plans that adhere to local regulations and guidelines
- Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and other professionals on restoration projects
- Oversee the implementation of preservation plans and monitor progress
- Ensure that all work is completed within budget and on schedule
- Maintain accurate records of all preservation activities
- Provide expert advice on best practices for preserving historical sites
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in preservation architecture
- Strong knowledge of architectural history and preservation techniques
- Familiarity with local regulations for historical site preservation
- Excellent project management skills
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders
