Preservation Architect - Triesen, Liechtenstein

The Preservation Architect is responsible for preserving and protecting the architectural integrity of historical buildings and structures in Triesen, Liechtenstein. This role requires a deep understanding of architectural history and preservation techniques, as well as a strong eye for detail and a passion for preserving cultural heritage.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research and analysis on historical buildings to determine their architectural significance and any preservation needs
- Develop plans for the restoration, renovation or adaptive reuse of historical buildings while maintaining their original character
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure that preservation work is done accurately and safely
- Prepare detailed drawings, specifications and cost estimates for preservation projects
- Monitor construction progress to ensure that work is done according to plans and within budget
- Conduct regular inspections of historical buildings to identify any potential issues or damage that may require immediate attention

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture with a focus on historic preservation
- Minimum of 3 years experience working as an architect with a specialization in preservation
- Strong knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and historic preservation guidelines in Triesen
- Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or other design software
- Ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to non-experts
- Fluent in English (additional language skills are a plus)

This is a full-time position with a salary of $1300 USD per month. Accommodation can be provided for those who require it.
