Plasterboard Worker


We are in need of a skilled Plasterboard Worker to join our team in Funchal. As a Plasterboard Worker, you will be responsible for installing and finishing plasterboard walls and ceilings in residential and commercial buildings.

Responsibilities:
- Measure and cut plasterboard according to specifications
- Install plasterboard panels on walls and ceilings
- Apply joint compound and tape to seal gaps between panels
- Smooth out seams and imperfections using hand tools or machines
- Sand down dry compound to create a smooth surface for painting or wallpapering
- Repair or replace damaged plasterboard panels as needed
- Ensure all work is completed accurately and within project timelines

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Plasterboard Worker or similar role
- Strong knowledge of techniques, materials, and tools used in plasterboarding
- Ability to read blueprints and follow technical diagrams
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy materials
- Attention to detail with excellent manual dexterity
- Basic math skills for measuring and cutting materials
- Good communication skills

We offer competitive salary of 1700$ per month for this contract position. Accommodation will not be provided, but we can assist with finding suitable housing options. Visa sponsorship is available for qualified candidates.
