Cashier at a Retail Store in Faro, Portugal


We are hiring a reliable and customer-oriented Cashier to join our retail store team in Faro, Portugal. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent service to our customers by processing transactions accurately and efficiently. You will also assist with maintaining the store's appearance and restocking products as needed.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers with a friendly and welcoming attitude
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using cash registers or other electronic systems
- Accept cash, credit, or debit card payments and provide accurate change when needed
- Assist customers with any inquiries or concerns they may have about products or services
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area at all times
- Restock merchandise on shelves and inform management of any low inventory levels
- Ensure all merchandise is properly labeled with correct prices and promotions
- Follow all store policies and procedures regarding cash handling, refunds, exchanges, etc.

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a cashier or in customer service is preferred but not required
- Basic math skills to handle cash transactions accurately
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers in a professional manner
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy of transactions and proper labeling of products
- Willingness to learn about new products and promotions
- Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
