Part-Time Metal Worker

Salary: 1000$ per month (pro-rated)


We are currently seeking a skilled Metal Worker to join our team on a part-time basis in Almada, Portugal. As a Metal Worker, you will be responsible for performing various tasks related to metal fabrication and repair. This includes using tools such as saws, grinders, and welders to cut, shape, and join metal pieces.

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in metalworking
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Familiarity with different types of metals and their properties
- Excellent attention to detail and strong hand-eye coordination
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects
- Must have own visa/work permit for Portugal

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret technical drawings to determine project specifications
- Measure and mark metal pieces according to specifications
- Cut, shape, and join metal pieces using various tools such as saws, grinders, and welders
- Smooth out rough edges and weld marks using sanders or other tools
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
- Repair damaged metal structures or equipment as needed
- Follow all safety protocols while working with potentially hazardous equipment
- Maintain a clean work area

Working Hours:
This is a part-time position with flexible working hours. The exact schedule will be discussed during the interview process.
