Pastry Chef
We are seeking a talented and experienced Pastry Chef to join our team in Ar-Ruwais. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing delicious and visually appealing desserts and pastries for our customers. Your duties will include selecting ingredients, measuring and mixing ingredients, baking, decorating, and presenting the final product. You must have a passion for creating sweet treats and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Create new dessert recipes that align with our menu offerings
- Prepare all pastry items according to recipes and quality standards
- Decorate pastries using various techniques such as piping, glazing, and icing
- Monitor inventory of ingredients and order supplies as needed
- Train junior pastry chefs on proper techniques and recipes
- Ensure cleanliness of work area and equipment
- Collaborate with other chefs to develop new menu items
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience as a Pastry Chef in a professional kitchen setting
- Certificate or degree in culinary arts or related field preferred
- Knowledge of various baking techniques, ingredients, and tools
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Creative mindset with an eye for detail
- Excellent time-management skills
- Fluent in English (Arabic language skills are preferred)
- Indian nationality preferred
Salary: 1600$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
City: Ar-Ruwais (Indian nationals preferred)
