Office Assistant (English Speaking)
We are seeking a highly organized and self-motivated Office Assistant to join our team in Nizwa, Oman. As an Office Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure. This position offers a salary of 1700$ per month and is open to Pakistani nationals.
Responsibilities:
- Answer phone calls and redirect them when necessary
- Manage the daily/weekly/monthly agenda and arrange new meetings/appointments
- Prepare and disseminate correspondence, memos, and forms
- File and update contact information of employees, customers, suppliers and external partners
- Support and facilitate the completion of regular reports
- Develop and maintain a filing system for important documents
- Check frequently the levels of office supplies and place appropriate orders
- Make travel arrangements for staff members
- Monitor office expenses and costs
- Take up other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an office assistant or in a similar role
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications will be a plus
