We are hiring a highly skilled Network and Systems Administrator to join our team in Lisbon. As a Network and Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, networks, and servers. Your role will involve designing, installing, configuring and supporting an organization's network infrastructure. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting network issues and ensuring the smooth operation of all systems.

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and monitor computer networks and systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Install and configure new hardware and software.
- Troubleshoot network problems and outages.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as backups, software updates, etc.
- Ensure security through access controls, backups, firewalls, etc.
- Configure user accounts and permissions.
- Monitor network usage to ensure compliance with company policies.
- Provide technical support to users in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with other IT professionals to resolve complex issues.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Proven experience as a Network or Systems Administrator.
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols (e.g. TCP/IP) and LAN/WAN technologies.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware or Hyper-V).
- Familiarity with Windows Server operating systems.
- Knowledge of disaster recovery principles.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication skills.

Preferred Requirements:
- Professional certifications such as CCNA or MCSA/MCSE are an advantage.
- Experience with cloud computing services (e.g. AWS or Azure).
- Knowledge of Linux operating systems.
