Welder for Structural Fabrication


Our well-established welding company is seeking a skilled and experienced Welder for Structural Fabrication to join our team in Eldoret, Kenya. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding and fabrication, with a focus on structural projects. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of 1100$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine project specifications
- Set up welding equipment and select proper welding techniques for each project
- Weld and fabricate structural components according to project specifications
- Inspect welds for quality control and make necessary adjustments as needed
- Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures at all times
- Communicate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and completion of projects on time

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Welder, with a focus on structural fabrication
- Proficient in MIG, TIG, stick welding techniques
- Ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately
- Familiarity with different types of metals and their properties
- Strong attention to detail and quality control skills
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work efficiently under pressure

Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in welding from a recognized institution
- Experience working with biometric passport projects is an asset
