Entry-Level Computer Support Specialist (Contract)
Location: Almada, Portugal


We are seeking a motivated and tech-savvy individual to join our team as an Entry-Level Computer Support Specialist. This is a contract position, perfect for students or those looking to gain experience in the field. In this role, you will provide technical support to our clients, troubleshooting and resolving computer hardware and software issues. You will also assist in setting up new systems and maintaining existing ones. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology, strong problem-solving skills, and excellent communication abilities. No prior experience is required, but familiarity with computer systems and basic troubleshooting is preferred. This position does not include accommodation or benefits.

Responsibilities:
- Respond to client inquiries regarding technical issues with computers and related equipment
- Diagnose hardware and software problems and provide solutions
- Install and configure new computer systems and software
- Perform routine maintenance on existing systems
- Keep accurate records of all support requests and resolutions
- Communicate effectively with clients to explain technical solutions in simple terms

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; degree in Computer Science or related field is a plus
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, and software applications
- Excellent problem-solving skills; ability to think critically under pressure
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Customer service experience is a plus but not required

Salary:
This is an entry-level position paying 1600$ per month.
