Long Haul Truck Driver


We are seeking a reliable and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team in Eldoret, Kenya. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years experience driving trucks and hold a valid commercial driver's license. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods over long distances, ensuring timely delivery and adhering to traffic rules and regulations.

Responsibilities:
- Operate trucks with a capacity of more than 3 tons to transport goods to various locations
- Plan routes and ensure timely delivery of goods
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment
- Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and safety procedures
- Complete daily logs and reports accurately
- Perform routine maintenance on trucks and report any mechanical issues
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other drivers

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years experience as a truck driver
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL)
- Good driving record with no traffic violations
- Ability to operate trucks in a variety of weather conditions
- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines
- Strong communication skills in English (knowledge of local languages is an added advantage)
- Physically fit to perform loading/unloading tasks as needed

Salary:
900$ per month

Candidates from India with legal authorization to work in Kenya are preferred.
