Freelance Typesetter (Contract) - Siauliai, Lithuania

As a freelance typesetter, you will be responsible for creating and formatting documents, books, and other written materials according to specific design guidelines. You will work closely with writers, editors, and publishers to ensure that the final product meets their expectations. This is a contract position with the potential for long-term collaboration.

Responsibilities:
- Create and format documents using typesetting software such as Adobe InDesign or QuarkXPress
- Apply appropriate fonts, styles, and layouts to maintain consistency and readability
- Proofread and edit text for spelling, grammar, and formatting errors
- Collaborate with writers and editors to understand their vision for the final product
- Follow design guidelines provided by publishers or clients
- Meet tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality work

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a typesetter or in a similar role
- Proficiency in typesetting software such as Adobe InDesign or QuarkXPress
- Attention to detail and strong proofreading skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members
- Strong time-management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines

Salary: 1300$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
