Back-End Developer

We are hiring a skilled Back-End Developer to join our growing team in Balzers. As a Back-End Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the server-side components of our web applications. Your main duties will include creating and optimizing data storage solutions, building RESTful web services, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness of our applications.

Key Responsibilities:
- Designing, developing, and maintaining server-side components of web-based applications
- Building reusable code and libraries for future use
- Collaborating with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
- Implementing data storage solutions that are efficient, scalable, and secure
- Developing RESTful web services for seamless communication between client-side and server-side systems
- Troubleshooting issues with application performance and implementing solutions for improvement
- Conducting regular system tests to identify bugs and implementing fixes as needed
- Ensuring compliance with coding standards and best practices

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven work experience as a Back-End Developer or similar role
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js
- Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB)
- Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery
- Knowledge of web server technologies (Apache/Nginx) and Linux operating systems
- Understanding of code versioning tools (Git)
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
