Instrument Technician - Oslo, Norway
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in Oslo, Norway. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of instruments and control systems used in the manufacturing industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain and repair instruments and control systems such as transmitters, controllers, sensors, and analyzers.
- Troubleshoot equipment failures and perform necessary repairs to ensure proper operation.
- Perform calibration and testing of instruments according to established procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and report any abnormalities or malfunctions.
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to identify process improvements and implement them.
- Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with regulations.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Instrument Technician in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of electrical instrumentation principles and techniques.
- Proficient in reading technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
- Familiarity with PLCs (programmable logic controllers) is preferred.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose complex issues effectively.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
Salary:
This position offers a competitive salary of 1600$ per month. Additional benefits such as health insurance, vacation time, and retirement plans may also be included.
