Back-End Developer for Full-Time Position in Los Angeles


We are hiring a skilled Back-End Developer to join our growing team in Los Angeles. As a Back-End Developer, you will be responsible for designing, coding, and modifying complex website functionality using various programming languages. Your primary focus will be on the server-side of web development, ensuring that our websites and applications are fast, secure, and scalable.

Responsibilities:
- Design and implement efficient back-end systems using programming languages such as Java, Python or PHP
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
- Build reusable code and libraries for future use
- Optimize website speed and scalability
- Implement data storage solutions using databases like MySQL or MongoDB
- Troubleshoot and debug issues with existing codebase
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in back-end development

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proven work experience as a Back-End Developer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python or PHP
- Experience with web development frameworks like Spring or Django
- Familiarity with front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience working with databases like MySQL, MongoDB or PostgreSQL
- Understanding of server-side templating languages like Twig or Jinja2
- Knowledge of security and data protection best practices
