Junior Information Security Analyst

We are looking for a Junior Information Security Analyst to join our growing team in Faro. As a Junior Information Security Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the security of our company's information systems and data. This is a full-time position with a starting salary of 1700$ per month and includes accommodation.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze security events to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop and implement security policies and procedures
- Respond to security incidents and conduct investigations as needed
- Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and recommend improvements to existing security measures
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure the secure design and implementation of new systems
- Assist with compliance audits and regulatory requirements

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- Strong understanding of information security principles, standards, and protocols
- Knowledge of common operating systems, network infrastructure, and web applications
- Familiarity with industry regulations such as GDPR or HIPAA
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in an information security role
- Certifications such as CISSP or CISM
- Experience with SIEM tools
- Knowledge of cloud computing security
