Part-Time Information Security Analyst
Location: Faro, Portugal (Preference for Portuguese or EU Nationality)


We are seeking an experienced Information Security Analyst to join our team on a part-time basis. As a Part-Time Information Security Analyst, you will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing the security of our systems and networks, identifying potential vulnerabilities and threats, and implementing necessary measures to ensure the safety of our data.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities
- Monitor network traffic and system logs to detect any suspicious activity
- Investigate security breaches and provide recommendations for remediation
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and protocols
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends and technologies
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Communicate security risks and updates to management in a clear and concise manner

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Proven experience as an Information Security Analyst or similar role
- Proficiency in network protocols, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, antivirus software, etc.
- Knowledge of risk assessment tools, technologies, methods, and standards
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to think critically under pressure
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP or CISM are preferred

Working Hours:
This is a part-time position with flexible working hours. The expected hours per week will be discussed during the interview process.

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1200 per month.

Location:
This position is based in Faro, Portugal. The candidate must have their own valid visa to work in Portugal. Preference will be given to Portuguese or EU nationality.
