Junior QA Engineer (Contract) - Remote

We are a fast-growing tech company based in the US, seeking a Junior QA Engineer to join our team on a contract basis. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products through thorough testing and reporting of bugs and issues.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct manual and automated testing on web and mobile applications
- Design, implement, and execute test plans and test cases
- Identify, document, and troubleshoot software defects
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure timely resolution of issues
- Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality code is being produced
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and continuously improve testing processes

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Experience with manual and automated testing techniques for web and mobile applications
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams

Salary: $1700 per month (contract)
Location: Remote (US-based)
Employment Type: Full-time (40 hours per week)
