Bilingual Interpreter

We are looking for a skilled Bilingual Interpreter to join our team in Kaunas. As a Bilingual Interpreter, you will be responsible for providing interpretation services between English and Indian languages. This is a part-time position with a salary of 1400$.

Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate interpretation services between English and Indian languages in various settings such as meetings, conferences, and interviews.
- Maintain confidentiality and impartiality at all times.
- Understand the cultural context of conversations to ensure accurate interpretation.
- Clarify any unclear statements or words to ensure effective communication.
- Keep updated on industry-specific terminology and procedures.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures.

Requirements:
- Fluent in English and at least one Indian language (Hindi, Punjabi, Bengali, etc.)
- Proven work experience as an interpreter or similar role.
- Excellent communication skills in both English and the Indian language(s).
- Familiarity with cultural differences and sensitivity towards diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to maintain professionalism in high-pressure situations.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Linguistics or related field.
- Certification from a recognized interpreting program.
- Experience working with medical or legal terminology.

Working Conditions:
This is a part-time position with flexible hours. The majority of work will be conducted remotely, but occasional in-person meetings may be required.
