Junior Accountant

As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting with day-to-day accounting tasks, such as preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, and analyzing financial data. You will work closely with senior accountants and other members of the finance team to ensure accurate and timely reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing monthly and annual financial statements
- Reconcile bank statements and other accounts
- Analyze financial data to identify discrepancies or trends
- Prepare journal entries and maintain general ledger
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Help with tax preparation and compliance
- Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial information

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience)
- Strong understanding of accounting principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (ex. QuickBooks)
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
