Restaurant Manager - Indian Cuisine (Los Angeles)
As a Restaurant Manager for our Indian cuisine restaurant in Los Angeles, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations and management of the establishment. Your main goal will be to ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction, while also maximizing profits and maintaining a positive work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all aspects of the restaurant, including staff, inventory, and finances
- Hire, train, schedule, and supervise employees to maintain high-quality service standards
- Create and implement effective marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones
- Monitor food quality and presentation to ensure consistency with our high standards
- Handle any customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner
- Track inventory levels and place orders for supplies as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized restaurant to meet health code requirements
- Conduct regular meetings with staff to provide feedback, address issues, and set goals
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager in an Indian cuisine establishment
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal (knowledge of Indian languages is a plus)
- Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Solid understanding of restaurant operations, from front-of-house to back-of-house procedures
- Proficient in budgeting, financial management, and inventory control
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
- Customer-oriented mindset with excellent problem-solving skills
- Must have legal authorization to work in the United States
