Part-Time Information Security Analyst

As a Part-Time Information Security Analyst, you will be responsible for protecting our company's sensitive information and systems from external and internal threats. You will work closely with our IT team to identify potential vulnerabilities and implement security measures to mitigate risks. Your main duties will include monitoring network activity, conducting security audits, performing risk assessments, and providing recommendations for improving our overall security posture. Additionally, you will assist in developing and enforcing security policies and procedures, as well as providing training to employees on best practices for information security. This position is open to all genders and nationalities with experience in the field of information security. The salary for this role is $1200 per month.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in information security
- Knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems
- Familiarity with risk assessment methodologies and industry standards (e.g. ISO 27001)
- Ability to analyze complex data and identify patterns or anomalies
- Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical individuals
- Experience with vulnerability scanning tools
- Strong attention to detail

Preferred:
- Professional certifications such as CISSP or CISM
- Experience working in a corporate environment
- Knowledge of cloud computing security principles

Location: This position is based in the United States.

Working Hours: This is a part-time position with flexible working hours.
