Preservation Architect
Location: Shan, Myanmar


Our architectural firm is seeking a highly skilled Preservation Architect to join our team in Shan, Myanmar. As a Preservation Architect, your main responsibility will be to ensure the preservation and restoration of historic buildings and landmarks in the city. You will work closely with clients, contractors, and other professionals to develop plans for preserving and restoring these structures while also ensuring they adhere to modern building codes and standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of historic buildings and landmarks to determine their condition and necessary preservation measures
- Create detailed preservation plans that adhere to local regulations, building codes, and conservation guidelines
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and other professionals during the planning and execution phases of preservation projects
- Oversee the restoration process by monitoring progress, ensuring quality standards are met, and addressing any issues that may arise
- Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and best practices related to preservation architecture
- Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders about project progress and any changes or challenges that may arise

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in preservation architecture or similar role
- Strong understanding of local regulations, building codes, conservation guidelines, and best practices related to preservation architecture
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1400$ per month for this position.
