Fitter Assistant


We are in search of a skilled and hardworking Fitter Assistant to join our team in Svalbard. As a Fitter Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting our experienced Fitters in assembling and installing various mechanical components. This is a part-time position, ideal for individuals with some experience in the field or freshers looking to gain hands-on experience.

Responsibilities:
- Assist experienced Fitters in assembling and installing mechanical components
- Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Use various hand tools and power tools to cut, shape, and fit materials
- Follow all safety protocols while working on projects
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:
- Prior experience in a similar role preferred, but not required
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately

Salary:
The salary for this part-time position is $1300 per month.

Location:
This job is located in Svalbard, an archipelago situated between Norway and the North Pole. Candidates must have legal authorization to work in Svalbard.

Working Hours:
This is a part-time position with flexible working hours.
