Accountant for a Contract Position in Nizwa (Filipino Nationality Preferred)

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team on a contract basis in Nizwa. As the Accountant, you will be responsible for managing all financial transactions and assisting with budget preparation and analysis. This position is suitable for men and does not require fluency in English.

Responsibilities:
- Manage all accounting operations including billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger
- Prepare financial statements and reports for management
- Assist with budget preparation and analysis
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures
- Reconcile bank statements and other financial statements
- Prepare tax returns and assist with audits
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and potential areas for improvement

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks preferred)
- Knowledge of tax laws and regulations
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
