Network and Systems Administrator (Remote/Contract)


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network and Systems Administrator to join our team on a remote, contract basis. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing our network and systems infrastructure. This is an English-speaking job that is open to both Africans and foreigners.

Responsibilities:
- Configure, install, and maintain network equipment such as routers, switches, firewalls, and servers
- Monitor network performance to ensure smooth operation and troubleshoot any issues that may arise
- Implement security measures to protect against cyber threats
- Manage user accounts, permissions, email accounts, and access rights
- Conduct regular backups of data to ensure data integrity
- Upgrade systems and software as needed for optimal performance
- Provide technical support to end-users for network and system issues

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience in network administration or a similar role
- Experience with biometric passport authentication systems is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP
- Experience with Cisco networking equipment is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently

Salary: $1800 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: This is a remote position that can be done from anywhere in the world. However, preference will be given to candidates located in Mauren or nearby cities.
