Web Developer

As a Web Developer in our fast-paced and dynamic company, you will be responsible for designing, coding, and modifying websites, from layout to function and according to our client's specifications. You will strive to create visually appealing and user-friendly websites that meet our clients' business needs. Your expertise in front-end development will be instrumental in delivering high-quality web solutions that align with industry standards.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project managers and designers to understand client requirements and propose effective solutions
- Design attractive and user-friendly websites by using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web development tools
- Develop responsive websites that are compatible across various browsers and devices
- Optimize website performance by implementing SEO best practices
- Ensure website security by regularly updating software and monitoring for security breaches
- Conduct testing of website functionality and troubleshoot issues as needed
- Stay updated on emerging web development trends, technologies, and techniques

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Proven work experience as a Web Developer or similar role
- Strong understanding of front-end web development languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Familiarity with web design principles and UX/UI best practices
- Experience with responsive design techniques and cross-browser compatibility
- Knowledge of SEO principles and best practices
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Visa sponsorship available for non-Svalbard residents

Location: Svalbard (relocation assistance available)

Salary: $1500 per month
